When I saw this photo, I could not believe it was Eddie.

He used to be very handsome (IMHO) and now he looks like a crazy, scary, burned-out stoner. Wow, I guess that's what years of substance abuse can do. What a shame

His poor ex wife tried for years to get him into rehab . Once she left him because he wouldnt get his act together he kinds fell apart.

They had to cut off half his tongue. I think his teeth look like he's got meth mouth.

Frankly I find it sad when people who have such opportunities in their lives squander them on substance abuse.

I thought Valerie left him because he wouldn't stop smoking after the cancer, not because of substance abuse? Maybe the substance abuse is recent? Since his marriage fell apart?

That's so sad. He was so beautiful and... such an incredible talent! Saw a video not long ago, that I assumed at the time, was somewhat recent... he still sounded fantastic, but can't help but be saddened by what appear to be some poor choices in lifestyle. Gotta admit though... still love him!
