Eddie Carroll passes away at age 76

Eddie Carroll, the voice of Jiminy Cricket since 1973, passed away today.

He assumed the role after the original actor, Cliff Edwards passed away in 1971.

Another one of my favorite Disney character's voices gone forever. First Wayne Allwine voicing Mickey Mouse, now Eddie Carroll voicing Jiminy Cricket.

That is very sad. It was such a lovely warm voice to listen too. I will certainly remember him when I watch and listen to Wishes this year.

Sad news. Jiminy Cricket is my sister's favorite character. I wish he got more publicity. It's hard to find souvenirs with Jiminy on them.
