DH will be using an ECV (scooter) for the first time at Universal parks and hotels. Does anyone know if there will be a problem with using it on the boat taxi?

Thanks!

People in wheelchairs were using the boat with no problems during our stay. They just rolled on. Also, people were just rolling their strollers on. The top part of the boat is a little small, by my estimate, it could hold maybe 2-3 "items". To get to the main part of the boat, you have to step down 1 step.

I don't think you'll have a problem at all. Enjoy your trip.

No problem getting on or off of the boat. Don't forget that all the hotels are a short walk away and a breeze to get to via ECV.

use the ECV on the water taxi.

no problem

i have been on water taxis this past month and it was done with ease.
you ride the scooter to the top section and can sit on it during the ride.

easy on
easy off

the boat pilot will place the ramp for you to use to get on and off the boat

Thanks, everyone! I was concerned because sometimes the water levels at WDW make it difficult for ECVs on boats. And though I know there are paths to US that are easy to navigate via ECV, the rest of us have to worry about our tired, sore feet!!! :)
