ECV storage during split stay

Over the last several months, I have had issues with seemingly random heart rate spikes and light headedness. We haven't determined the cause yet, but my Dr gave me the green light to go on my upcoming trip early May, if I use an ECV. This will be my first time using one. I have read a lot of the comments and reviews on this page and plan to go with Gold Mobility. I am not sure when to have it delivered as I am doing a split stay and going to the water park.

This is a solo trip and my first night is at Pop Century. I will be spending a couple of hours at DHS that night. The next day, I move to Boardwalk (using luggage transfer service) and plan to use my water park benefit that day. I do not need the ECV at the waterpark. If I have the ECV delivered on my first day, is there a place that I can store the ECV at the resort while I am at the waterpark since my room won't be ready at the Boardwalk prior to me heading to the waterpark?

Officially NO.
DHS and water parks require more walking then you realize. Your doctor wants you to have use of an ECV. I doubt he said except for DHS and a water park. Your heart doesn't know you're in a water park.

Unofficially I can't think of a place in the Boardwalk. The hotel doesn't have any direct restaurants. Outside a restaurant might work. Bell services aren't suppose to store third-party scooters. Bell services is a tipped position. You can ask if there is place you can leave it. Maybe a corner in the lobby.

No, you'll have to take it to the water park. You could park it somewhere within the water park when you get there (remember to cover it in case it rains), it's not like Disney is going to require you to ride it around the park.

I suggest taking it to the waterpark. You can park it and walk as you’d like.

Take a Minnie Van or Mears Accessible Taxi from Pop directly to the water park. Mears taxi will cost less.

This seems unnecessary when the Disney resort busses can easily accommodate the scooter. OP can just take the bus from Pop to the water park.

Is there a direct bus from POP? I thought getting to a water park requires a transfer -- either at AK (for BB) or at DS (for TL).

You are right - I completely forgot about that. I would do the transfer though because those accessible taxis/vans can be really expensive.

Mears accessible is the same price as a regular taxi, $15 - $20 with tip. Less then 10 minutes plus wait time.

My concern is getting to the AK and finding 3 or 4 scooters already waiting. Realizing the AK bus just left and you have a 20 minute wait ahead of you.

Not the OP, but I'm curious how Mears accessible taxis work. I didn't know that was a thing. I've tried to order the accessible Minnie Van a few times, but the wait has always been so long.

You can use the Mears app or call. Booking in advance doesn't really work
