I have read the FAQ's. I have read the current threads here. I still have a few questions.
I have bad bursitis in my Left hip. I am relatively young (56) and healthy, but I can NOT walk long distances. I saw the MD on Friday. We are trying a new anti-inflamatory med and TENS for 3 months. If not better, I might require surgery.
At any rate, we have a trip planned for October. I am considering whether I will need a ECV or whether to just cancel our trip
I am a long time Dis'er and I know how people feel about "healthy" people using ECV's. I am worried.
I would be able to stand/walk in a regular line. I can stand without pain. I can walk short distances fine. Long distances (less than100 yards) result in extreme pain!!!
Are there places to park an ECV outside of a queque or restaurant? I would stand in the regular line. If you enter in one area but exit in another, would your ECV be moved?
We are booked at the BWV's but I KNOW that I can not walk to Epcot from there. I read about charging ECV's, so I am assuming there really is no problem with most.
I am very worried about loading onto buses for the AK and the MK.
How do ECV"s work on the trail to see the animals in the AK?
Any thoughts are welcome.
I would hate to cancel, but I wonder if we (DH and adult DS) can have a good time if I am a burden.
Thanks in Advance
