ECV on Disney Private VIP tour

Does anyone have experience with using your ECV on the Disney Private VIP tour when going to multiple parks? My father has his own ECV which we can quickly lift/fold etc for transport. I was assured at booking that there was a vehicle that would be suitable to transport the scooter, but I am just curious to hear an actual experience. My father has knee and hip damage that prevents him from walking more than a few steps at a time, so doing the tour without ECV is not an option. Thanks in advance for any insights.

I am sure the privet one will accommodate him as long as they can get the ECV in the vehicle ( you might need to take it apart ) and as long as he can get in it.

Good point @gap2368. OP, call back and specify that you need an ECV-accessible van, a style where they extend and lower a ramp and he can ride in and out.

I personally can't get into most minivans or SUVs.

They will do everything to accommodate him. Just make sure they know you will have an ECV. I’ve done them before with an ECV going with us. They have specific vans with a lift that lets the ECV park inside the back of the van, no need to fold it. They just need to know to give you one of those vans. At no point during the tour did the ECV cause us any issues.

Hi! Did you ever end up doing this? If so, how did it work out? We are considering the same. VIP tour but with a scooter due to mobility issues. Thanks!
