ECV - OKW to DD Boat

Can we bring Mom's ECV on the boat from OKW to DD? The last time we stayed at OKW the boat was a pontoon boat, and I'm not sure if that has changed. If it is still a pontoon, can it accomodate an ECV? Any one have any experience?

I've also posted this on the DVC board and it was to suggested to ask here too.

They refused me at the dock at DTD. I think it is still a pontoon boat.

I use an ECV while at WDW & have never hada problem getting on the boat at OKW or DTD. I don't know what type of boat it is, but I do know that is was after they got different boats when they added SSR to the route.

Thank you!! We will try to take the ECV onto the boat. Other posters have said that they have been able to take the ECV. So I am sure it has to do with the change in the boats. It is such a nice way to travel to DD from OKW so I hope that it all works out. If not, there is always the bus.

Ahem. When I stayed at OKW last (2005) I was able to take the boat several times. The only problem I had was trying to back off the boat up the little ramp the captain places to even things out - not a mom, no eyes in the back of my head
