ECV newbie

We're not going offsite, but I'm so sorry this sounds dumb: Can I only take the buses for transportation in WDW? I thought someone said I could take the boat to DHS? Am I allowed to do that? How about the monorail?
We're staying @ BWI, so Epcot won't be an issue.
TIA..

The monorail is very easy to use. The CM will lower a ramp for you to drive up, and when you get where you're going they'll lower it for you to drive off.

I've heard some of the boats are handicap accessible but couldn't tell you which ones.

The boats from BWI to DHS are accessible, the operator will put down a ramp for you. Monorails are also accessible, make sure you indicate what stop you plan to get off so they can set up the ramp at the right car. Buses are all accessible.

Enjoy your vacation!

The only caveat on the boats is that if the water levels are too low, so that the ramp has to be at too steep an angle, the boat may not be accessible. Rare, but it can happen.
