ECV in Attraction Queues

Be aware that just because they are accessible it doesn't mean it's easy.
My dad was a a Passholder from 19' to 22' and has his own Pride but he started out with the Disney ones.
He actually got the Pride because the Disney ones were so difficult to manuaver the queues.
Flight of Passage stand by for sure is one I would say is bad, epecially in the glow flower area. I've actually seen a elderly lady there slam into one of the metal barriers when trying to turn and completely wedge the ECV in a way she couldn't manuaver it out.
The entire queue was blocked and it happened right behind us so we kept looking for a CM as we walked to send to help her.

Luckily they replaced the Disney ECVs last year (or so?) because you're right, the old ones were really difficult to maneuver. The new ones are three-wheelers and a lot easier.

They seem to be the same size when I see them in the parks.

They are about the same size but three wheel ECV’s have a tighter turning radius. That being said, my personal power chair has a tight radius, much better than ECV’s, and some turns are tight for me. I have bumped a pole/wall a few times. I see scuff marks on poles etc where people have clearly run into it with a mobility device.

I’ve seen threads in the past. Perhaps someone will be able to post a link. It’s easier to tell you the ones that your ECV cannot go into.
Here are just a few I can remember:
One at MK that stands out is Pirates of the Caribbean…you have to transfer to a manual wheelchair to go thru the queue.
At Epcot for Spaceship Earth, you park your ECV at the exit and the CM leads a group of handicap along the rail up the ramp to get onto the ride vehicles. I don’t know the process if you can’t walk that distance…probably work with you with a wheelchair.
At HS, if you ride ROTR, don’t give up your ECV the first time they ask you if you cannot stand a while and walk a ways. Tell them you need it all the way to the ride vehicle.

Edit: forgot to add “Spaceship Earth” when talking about Epcot. Sorry.
Spaceship Earth is a real sore point for me. You board at a handicapped area inside, but to access the ride vehicles, you must go up a ramp. To some people, it wouldn't seem a big deal, but it is a RAMP (as in an incline) and is not short. I am in a ECV, with oxygen due to COPD and cannot get out and walk it. So they give me a wheelchair which I cannot propel without severe shortness of breath. My husband has a LVAD and uses a walker, and my son also uses an ECV due to extreme anemia and other effects from Crohns. Last time, a CM assisted me up the ramp, and at the end, I was told that I needed to get myself down--I had people with me. My family had gotten themselves up, but weren't strong enough to get me down. I went down, using my feet as brakes, hoping I wouldn't get away from myself and hurt anyone--me OR people coming up the ramp. So...technically ADA compliant, but not really compliant in a full sense. Sad, it's one of my favorites, but I won't try to ride it again.
