ECV friendly..

I'm planning an Oct stay at U for my very first visit.

Planning on staying on site, undecided where. Can anyone tell me if U is as ecv friendly as WDW?? Parks/Hotels??
Does the boat transportation take ecv's?? Is one hotel better to stay at than another for having an ecv?
Any thoughts would be appreciated!!
