I have rented the standard scooter from Buenos Vista scooters which has a weight limit of 325. I am under that but over 250 so I am concerned. I'm wondering if I should change it to the larger model. It costs more but I don't want to have the battery not hold a charge or be uncomfortable all week.

Call Buena Vista, and ask them this question: "If I try the standard scooter and I find it is uncomfortable, or the battery doesn't last all day, can I swap it for the larger model?"

Betcha 2 FastPasses they will tell you no problem, as long as we have the model you want to swap for available. :)

And remember - practicing good battery management (like turning off the ECV anytime you aren't moving, and won't be moving for more than *literally* a minute during shopping, shows, rides & meals, don't use the headlight in the daytime, etc.) and making sure that you have a fully charged battery every morning when you start the day will alleviate most battery issues.

Have fun!

I would like to hear if any other Poohs used the standard size
I rented from Apple last time and I think it was larger

I'm 6' 330, used the standard size my last trip, never lost charge the entire trip. I plugged in when I was done for the night, and had a full charge all day. Management is key, as previous posters have said.
