ECV delivery

it is free (or at least, you could say it is included in the rental fee).

There are links in the disABILITIES FAQs thread to some of the companies DIS posters recommend. You can check out the websites of the places you are interested in renting from.

We stayed at OKW the last time we were there in 2005. The people at the Hospitality House helped us order one from an outside company. My father inlaw said it was like the cadilac of ECV's. It was delivered to the Hospitality House and I went and picked it up there and drove it to our unit for him. It was the same price as renting one in the parks everyday and he had it for the resort this way. The buses all have the ability to lower down to street level so you can drive them right onto the bus. It made the whole thing very painless. When it was time to go we just called the company and they pick it up in the lobby. It was all very simple and went without a hitch. We are going again the end of April into May. Staying at OKW again and planning on doing it the same way again.

Care Medical does it for free. I even had a flat tire in the park and they came to me and fixed it.

I am sure that there are no delivery charges from any of the companies which we have listed in the disABILITIES FAQ. However, if you are renting for only one or two days they might add a delivery fee.
