We are either staying at WL or AKL for our stay in October (all depends on which week we are able to go). One of my coworkers said that when you have a rented scooter you park it downstairs where they keep your luggage to charge overnight. Is this true? I for some reason thought my husband would need to drive it back to our room and charge it there. :confused3

You can do either thing.

Bell Services will store the ECV for you overnight. Make sure they will charge it each night and not just park it. The advantage of that is you won't have it in your room taking up space.
Some disadvantages are that you won't have ready access to it - you have to walk to/from Bell Services and you may have a wait to get it if Bell Services is busy. Some people also feel that they need to tip the Bell Services CM each time the ECV is picked up (they are, after all, providing a service for you).

Most people just drive the ECV into their room and store it there. You may find that moving a table or chair is needed to make a better parking spot, but a regular room will have space for the ECV. One suggestion is to take along an extension cord (3 prong) or a power strip. That way, you can plug in the cord where you can and 'move' the outlet to the ECV; you are not as limited in where you can park the ECV.
Some advantages to that are you will not have to walk to your room and can use it whenever you want to. You also will know that it has been charged because you have control of the charging.
