i will be going to DLR in September with my 8 year old daughter. It will be just the two of us. I have to use an ECV to tour the parks.

I have noticed that the majority of the counter service eateries have little barricades between each line, making it difficult to impossible to navigate with an ECV.

Will the CMs at the CS places allow a young child to go through the line and pay with a card? Or even with cash? I don't really want to travel with that much cash.

Have any of you had experience with this type of situation? What worked for you/didn't work? Any ideas on how to navigate these lines without creating pandemonium?

Dont they have at least one accessible line at every CS restaurant?

Yes- usually at the end. The CMs always directed us to this line, otherwise Mum would have to go wait elsewhere whilst Dad and I carried the drinks and food.

My son is the same age (although he looks more like 12) and paid with cash at counter service places in DLR. He could have also charged stuff to the on site hotel room (not sure if you can do that in the parks though because we did not try.)
