And I thought booking ADRs was unnerving. No comparison to getting queued for MM tickets.

I was freaking because I saw no queue position numbers as the instructions said there'd be. Nothing but a wavy gray bar moving rapidly.

Suddenly, there was the form for getting the tickets! I must've been very close indeed to the top of the queue.

Best of all, we've invited friends to join us for dinner at 50s Prime Time before MM starts. We'll be right there in DHS in May ready to make some magic.

Tremendously exciting because there's never before been an MM during our trip dates. Can't wait!

Same! It's my first year of being a DVC member and DVC magically chose the week that I was planning on going in September after I had already made my reservations and managed to snag the reservation for moonlight magic this morning.

Time to recuperate some of the losses from my contract in the form of Mickey shaped ice cream bars!

I'd better run out and buy a lottery ticket.

A friend on another Disney forum posted 3 minutes after registration opened that the May MM sold out before she could get tickets.

I told DH I bet there'd be enormous demand for this MM because of all the new stuff in DHS. Do I ever feel lucky we got tickets!

Not for me. I was logged in long prior to 11 and got a crappy number and it was sold out before I dropped below 800th in place. I don't recall it being like this the last time they did MM.

Does anybody know if they release a second batch of availability to DVC members without reservations on the other date? Or are they just like everything has already been filled by members with resort reservations, sorry!

Yes, there will be a second day for anyone who has an eligible membership to register.

I have never had any luck with the second registration… seems like less openings and more folks trying. But that may be because I didn’t get in! It is the same registration process as the one today.

People do get in on the second registration day. Watch for the announcement… though I’m sure someone here at the DIS will post it… I’ll be crossing my fingers for you

I am sorry you didn’t get in, that was almost me coz after 15 yrs of ownership I didn’t even know what this was. Guess I was never there when it occurred.

Just want to put this here for anyone trying for other Moonlight Magic.
I had already clicked in yesterday on my iPad when I received the email, not knowing really what it was. Then I read up on here and realized I might be better off just clicking in @ 11am.

@ 11am clicked in on iPhone & got #1191
the One on my iPad that I opened yesterday was @ #3261 at 11am

I went with the iPhone 1191 queue, when it was my time but I got booted off when on last page coz I guess I took too long. (Really really wasn’t even on that page for more then 1 minute trying to read everything).

Anyway I ended up going back to my iPad queue and got in on that one after about 33 minute.

and, the one I got booted off of reset to # 10,000 something.

I can definitely relate. Demand must've been tremendous for the May DHS one.

I was going nuts because I was trying to fill out the form when DH texted me from work asking where I was in the queue. He'd signed in just in case I hit a glitch and was booted, said he was in the 6800s.

He didn't get a reply until after I saw that magical word "confirmed."
