Economic 3G SIM Card

I'll be in Orlando in 48 hours
I live in Italy and I would like to buy an economic SIM card to use with my unlocked 3G phone while in the USA. I don't want a contract, just a card to use for 2 weeks and then forget about it. I would need above all to use Internet data, because while in the hotel I can use WIFI and Skype to call home, so I'm not interested in cheap phone rates, but cheap Internet. A data-only card would be ok.
In Italy we can buy SIM cards for 30€ (40$) and even lower, with most of the expense being pre-paid credit that you can use. Those card are "rechargeable" with credit if needed.
Do you have something similar in the USA? Can you please tell me which provider to consider?

You could try simple mobile. They are a sim card only provider. They use the sprint network and should have plenty of towers in the orlando area. You'd have to check and make sure your phone is compatible, but as long as its an unlocked gsm phone that supports the 1700mhz band, it should be.

Minor technical nit, Simple Mobile is running GSM, which couldn't possibly be Sprint. From what I can tell, they seem to be using the t-mobile backbone. On that note, I'd also recommend t-mobile prepaid as a decent option here.
