Has anyone stayed at the Econolodge at the Park? (It's on Katella near the Convention Center and the Anabella.)

It looks like it is a walkable distance to DLR. Where are the pedestrian entrances to DL? Do we have to walk around to the Harbor Avenue side? Is there an entrance off of Katella?

Thanks!

The place you speak of is an older motel that recently converted to become an Econolodge. I have nevered stayed there but it's rating as the former Skyview motel was not very good. I would call and ask it the rooms have been remodeled when it took on the Econolodge name. It is with in walking distance but you do not need to go to the Harbor Blvd entrance. You will walk a minute or so down Katella to Disneyland drive and cross over toward the Paradise Pier hotel and the Disneyland hotel. You can walk to the park entrances through Downtown Disney or take the Monorail into Disneyland. It would be about 10 minute walk or so.

Depends on how much of a walker you are. You can easily walk to the Simba/Timon parking lot & take a tram in & most of the hotels have their own shuttles. If you are too early for the trams, the walk should be about 1/2 an hour to the front gate.
