Eco friendly/organic/recycled etc gifts

I need one more gift for a family member that is very earth conscious. IO'd love to get something that was recycled. IE a scarf that was made from something else, serving pieces made from bamboo etc. I am just having a tough time finding a good website that would have plenty of options.

Does anybody know of a company that would sell stuff like this? I have googled and found a few but nothing that is really catching my eye.

Patagonia has wonderful eco-friendly clothing. They have their own website and stores, and they are also sold at REI and sporting good stores. Check their web specials section of the site, they have good sales.

You could also try Etsy, they have wonderful handmade and unique gifts. Viva Terra, Gaiam, and Garnet Hill all have cute eco-friendly gifts.

Have you looked on etsy.com? Just type in what you're looking for with the words recycled or upcycled. You'll find lot of interesting items. There are some very nice handbags depending on your budget. Also some nice wooden items. Here is a grocery bag made from plastic bags as just an example of what you could find there.
