EBTA 2014...Across the Atlantic we go!!!

Got back last week, and promptly:
1. Went back to work - yuck.
2. Got sick - double yuck.

Just wanted to tell everyone here what a wonderful time we had meeting all of you. And to let you all know that if I didn't remember/recognize you during the cruise, I wasn't trying to snub you - I have a hard time with names and faces!

It was a great cruise, and we hope to sail with you all again sometime!

Hi EBTA cruisers. I hope you all had a magical cruise filled with great memories. I'm on the WBTA in September and I heard that some people where unhappy with the DCL port adventures in Malaga, Spain. If this is true would someone like to elaborate?

We went on the adult only Alhambra tour and had a wonderful time. Some people didn't like the guide, said he talked to much. I thought he was great.

We did the Mijas and Malaga tour and most of it went really well! Mijas was gorgeous! The meal was very large in Mijas. Our major complaint about this tour was that it did not stop at/near the castle, as it was stated in the description of the tour in bold. This was very disappointing to us. Other than that, our tour was very good.

That being said, from what we gathered, NO tours went to the castle! There were many, many complaints about not going in or even near the castle, even though it was in the description of almost all of the tours.

We had the world's shortest tour in Malaga - sold as 2.5 hours and was actually only 45 minutes long. It also noted a castle stop in the write-up - but as we all found out, no one had that opportunity on any of the tours. We paid over $150 for 2 adults and one child for something we could have paid a fraction of that with a simple taxi ride into the city.
We have taken 3 cruises and booked 4 & 5 on board. We have decided that Port Adventures have never been worth the price and won't ever book one again - you can do better on your own!

We did this tour, it was set up by someone on our sailing and it was great. A little long for our 3 and 6 yr old children, but we still had a great time. It was really a hot day too, so this may have been why my 3 yr old started to get cranky.
