EBTA 2014...Across the Atlantic we go!!!

Hi everyone! We just booked the 2014 EBTA and will be traveling with my husband, daughter (4) and son (2). This is our first Disney Cruise and we're all very excited! We look forward to meeting many of you.

Welcome! Our first DCL cruise was the 2011 EBTA and we have since added a 4 night Bahama and Panama Canal.....it becomes addicting.

We also just got back from the 2013 EBTA and booked this cruise while onboard. I am still trying to talk my DH into it but I couldn't pass up putting down a deposit and working on him over the next few months. We booked four rooms. We are hoping our travelling party will be DH and I, my Mom, little sister, her DH and their kids (DD 1.5 and DD 4.5 at sailings) and my older sister and her two kids (DD 7.5 and DS 11.5). Feel free to ask any questions about the 2013 EBTA you may have while it is still fresh in my mind.

We really had a great time, and the sea days made it wonderful!

the EBTA, we rebooked also and I know plenty of others

PS - I saw you a few times, but never got the chance to introduce myself! I did my walking early every day, and put up over 30 miles (including the nearly 7 I hiked on the Levadas in Madeira). Thanks again for organizing the running club and giving me some goals! And thanks for the great B-day card for myself and my wife!

BTW on the EBTA 2013 the WEATHER was great, seas were calm, ( cept one day of bumping)

Just got in from our 24hour trip home from Barcelona. The EBTA and first Med cruise were great. Our very darling cabin steward, Casper, got us into a verandah cabin that has been remodelled as a Beta site for how they will look after remodel. The bedspread wasn't the new one yet but the rugs and furniture changes were in. I'll post the picture when I find our camera.

We were talking with the captain and he told us they are most likely going to delay the big remodel on the Wonder until the Panama Canal expansion is complete. It has been delayed by more then a year. The duck tail they are adding to the Magic, and want to put on the Wonder, to increase stability and decrease fuel consumption, widens the ship making it too large to fit through the PC.

I have deposits down for it .... still not set in stone yet as a lot will depend on flights etc .. but at the moment we are definitely planning to be there.

Just home from the 1st June Med sailing ... we booked this one onboard. Had such a great time, for those of you who just did the EBTA I believe you all had a blast

On the 2013 TA there was no TA merchandise, none. No shirts, pins, magnets, none. Don't know if they will have any for 2014 but think we should have our own to be sure.
