EBTA 2014...Across the Atlantic we go!!!

:wave2: Hoping to book this cruise while onboard the Med cruise in July (we sail in 58 days!!!) We take each of our kids on a Disney cruise when they graduate college and our middle child graduates next May so this itinerary is perfect timing, plus she says Spain is one of the countries she'd like to visit but hasn't had the chance to yet (her college jazz choir toured internationally so she was able to tour many countries, just not Spain). SO - here's hopin' it's not sold out by the time we can book with that onboard discount and I can convince my husband to save up for another expensive cruise (this 12-night Med cruise + international airfare + shore excursions for 7 ports of call made us gulp many times this past year!)

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

According to my countdown we are officially "One Year to Go" today ....

Lovely to pass that milestone and makes it all the more real !!

Hi EVERYONE!

Just got off the Magic 8 night from Galveston and booked this cruise! It'll be our second cruise!
Can't wait to see the ship after the reno!!!

SO excited :)

There will be 6 of us in total... all adults hehe

We've added our name to the FE exchange spreadsheet... is that all we have to do? Or is there another group for it? It was our first time participating and we absolutely loved it! :)

Hello! We are the Cannon's -Sherrie, Andy, and Tori. We are so excited to be on this cruise. We just got off the MAGIC on May 10th. We are planning on doing the B2B with the first Med cruise.

I signed the spreadsheet and requested to join the FB page.

We are spa junkies.

My husband and I just got off our 14 night west bound Panama Canal cruise on the Wonder. It was LOVELY! While aboard we booked the 2014 EBTA but this time we're bringing our three kids (ages ds 18, dd 16, ds 13)! They just about jumped through the roof with excitement when we told them. We are celebrating our oldest son's graduation from high school and community college. DH and I were on the WBTA in 2011. It was awesome! Can't wait to see the new and improved Magic, which is my favorite ship.

Welcome aboard everyone!!!!:cool1:
Looking forward to chatting with everyone while we anxiously await the beginning of our journey!!!pixiedust:

It seems like this cruise is filling up a bunch of categories are not available anymore. I was looking to downgrade to an 11B yesterday and only GTY was available, I ended up with an 11A.

Today there are no 11B's available. Just a week ago there were lots of rooms to choose from:)

We just booked this along with the first Med while on the Wonder last week going through the canal. Time will tell if we will keep this booking or not but we enjoyed the EBTA in 2011 so would love to do it again.

Ok, I realized I have a pronunciation question. Is it pronounced E-B-T-A, or EB-TA?

I always just say E-B-T-A but I don't really say it, usually just type. If I said it, no one would have a clue what I'm talking about. Interested to hear what others have to say.

I also say E-B-T-A in my head when typing it here. When I am talking about the trip I say East Bound Transatlantic ;)

Booked it today, my happy meter is now at 10 ( the max it can be).
So hoping to get to know a few of you before we sail. I'm Tony and my wife is called Angela. We're from the UK and we've done all 3 WBTA but this will our first EBTA ( not looking forward to losing an hours sleep each night as we cross the Atlantic). Our youngest daughter Karen, aged 31 is saying she'd like to come with us, but I ain't listening, but if theres any change. you'll be the first to know.

I do not think it will be sold out. We just booked onboard for the PC and they were offering 20% off on this one. Made it a steal with the OBC. We are not yet decided for certain, but booked just incase. We can always move it out and use it as a dummy date.

There will probably be all categories available before we set sail. Just keep checking.

Oh my goodness! :hyper: That'd be awesome if they offer the same discount while we're onboard next month! Then my husband will have NO excuses ;) Thanks for the heads-up!

I am fine with category we have now. I was just surprised that a week prior there were lots of 11B rooms and now there are none. I was having a hard time finding a room that was available on this and the first Mediterranean since we are doing a B2B I didn't want to pack up and move to a different room.

I am sure the rooms are filling up with that 20% off deal being offered, wish I was sailing soon :)

Scrabblefan, my wife Christine and I are both retired teachers; well, technically she will be in 12 dats. We are from Huntington Beach.

We were able to get a sideways 11, same room for the BTB. I thought we were very, very lucky! :wizard:

We just booked this cruise on our wonder cruise we got off of yesterday!! My aunt sandy and my mom Sharon will be going with me, Megan. I will be 17 on the cruise. My grandparents are coming too. It will be my mom and I's 13th cruise!! We were supposed to be on the 2013 EBTA but the airfare prices didn't allow us to go. My mom, aunt and I will be in one stateroom and in stateroom 2073 and we would like to be added to the FE list if possible. My grandparents will be in a different room. It will be their 60th wedding anniversary on the cruise!!
