Hi all
I am sooooo excited  to have been able to book this yesterday as we were meant to be on the 2013 one but due to family breakdown, we had to cancel.:crowded:
But I booked myself and the 3 Littles (DD 9, DS 7, and DS 5) in cabin 5009... a sideways 11B! I just want the steamer trunk for extra storage... I am also waiting to see if they will change the height of the beds to be able to put cases underneath when they do the refurb. :confused3
We are intending to use our DVC points for a stay at Disney from May 14 as my birthday is on the 16th!:bday: followed by 10 days in London/ Manchester.
And the nice thing is I already have FEs partially prepared as I had started them for this year's :yay:
Looking forward to meeting some new friends and relax!

We have just booked this cruise :goodvibes

Was going to book a European one but this is cheaper even adding on airfare :thumbsup2

Looking to have a couple of nights in wdw beforehand and then will fly from Barcelona back home direct :goodvibe

We are two adults booked into a category 6A :cheer2::cheer2:

I am booked too! Me and my 16 year old DD. Let the countdown begin!

We are booked too, me (Tracy), dh (Jay), and dd(Georgia -8) from just outside of Halifax NS. We were going to book Alaska in August, but the cost for this cruise was too good to pass up. The airfare and the cruise was less than the Alaska cruise.

I think we will do a couple days at WDW before and spend 4-5 days in Barcelona after.

We have booked this cruise, and look forward to sailing with you. We are Woody & Anne from Los Angeles.

I was checking the cruise meet thread for the 2013 EBTA cruise, they have a lot of things planned!

On our last cruise on the Fantasy we did lanyards for the group, everyone paid $3/lanyard. They were great for picking out people from the meet. The only problem was that our cruise was the only after Hurricane Sandy. Our boarding was delayed. We had all planned to meet at the Sail Away party and hand out the lanyards then, but the Sail Away party was cancelled. Everyone recieved their lanyard, but it was a lot more work to get them out.

This will be our first transatlantic cruise. Has anyone done a TA cruise before?

Just thought I would say 'Hi'. Am desperately trying to talk DH into this one so may be joining you all :)

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

Have a great cruise!

Am really hoping to be able to join you guys, although it will be a while until we can book, if we do.
I'm originally from the UK, with relatives in Spain, so thought this would be perfect to cruise over, spend a week in Spain, a couple of weeks in England and then fly home (Florida).
So keeping my fingers crossed I can make it happen!

How is everyone handling their flight part of the journey? From what I've seen so far, a one way is more expensive than a round trip!

I am in Canada and there are a couple of charter options, Air Transat, and Condor. They are showing $591 for a one way taxes and fees included. Not to bad. The one way was $30,000 with Air Canada :rotfl2:.

I have seen people suggest you book a return flight from Barcelona and don't take the second half of the trip. From what I have read airlines frown on this.

I was checking the Mediterranean cruise after the TA and I am strongly considering it. It isn't a bad price and we are there all ready. Very tempting:laughing:

This is our 1st TA also. We were suppose to be on this years but plans fell through.
We will be staying Barcelona for the weekend and then head to London for a week or so. Watched flights this year... one ways were as low was $1300/ total for the 4 of us on Transat... so will book it asap if I see it! :thumbsup2
My daughter Madigan will be just 9 for the trip, Graiden will be 7 and Finnian will be 5... they however, tend to ditch me and live in their clubs...

1300 is really good for 4. Air transat London to Halifax is about $1800 for 3. Condor is $1600 for 3 Barcelona to Halifax with a layover in Frankfurt.

Our daughters are close in age Georgia will be 8 on our trip but turning 9 a few months later. I was a little concerned that there wouldn't be many kids her age on the cruise, so it is good to know there is at least one.:)

We are booked on this cruise too! Not sure yet if both children will be with us (they will be 17 and 19) or not but for sure me and DH! May even get my MIL on the cruise again as it hits when school is out in TN (she is a bus driver in the school system).

I see several familiar names :) Our family has done 4 disney TA cruises - both TA cruises in 2010 and 2011 and plan to do both again. I love the TA cruises!

Hey KrisAnn!!! I am glad I will get to see you again. Glad to see you are doing both the TA's again. Woo hoo.

Booked on this. This is our 10th on the Magic but 1st TA. Me, Jack, and my wife CHristine.

This is our first cruise on the Magic.

We did a 3 day cruise on the Dream, we hadn't cruised before and wanted to do a short cruise in case we didn't like it. In October we did a Fantasy cruise to the Western Caribbean and loved it especially the sea days.

I am interested in what they are going to do to the Magic during its dry dock. I hope they put in one of the interactive mystery games like they have on the Fantasy/Dream. They are time intensive but would be great on a TA. I am also interested to see if they put in a BBB. My daughter loved the one on the Fantasy. It wasn't large and I imagine it is a cash cow for Disney.

We just switched to this cruise last night. I was told there may be two formal nights and a semi-formal night. Since you have done these often, I was wondering what is the formal wear for guys? Are they in tuxes or just suit and tie?

Our plan is to fly from Barcelona to DLP then over to London before flying home. I will probably Priceline the one way home, but maybe a good airfare will come out and it will be easy to book one way.
