EBTA 2014...Across the Atlantic we go!!!

I like your thinking;) I am now trying to figure out if I can take that much time off work:rotfl2:

It is nice to be retired.

I have been trying to get access to the facebook group, can anyone help me with that? I am want to find out if there is an FE signup list, and any lists for other activities too. Thanks for your assistance.

I just searched Priceline for March not June because it doesn't go to June next year yet. I looked at several different paths and so far it seems to be least expensive for Sam and I to book Paris to Washington DC ($400 each) then book DC to ATL.

It's an idea, but you might want to look and see if it is less expensive to book from Barcelona to NY and then see how much it is to fly NY to your local airport. I actually haven't checked NY to ATL yet.

When I booked a trip to Fiji, it was less expensive to fly from ATL to LAX first, then book LAX to Fiji roundtrip. From ATL to Fiji it is over 2k, but booking this way it was a little less than 1k per person. Just a thought

Good idea! I will check. So hard to know until the flight schedules open for next may/June. Ugh.

Not yet booked, but will be for this cruise. Me and my partner are looking to do this as our second Disney Cruise and first to Europe for my belated 35th bday and our 10 year anniversary. We are DVC members and when we called today to get information about the cruise they said no one was booked for this cruise. But here you all are. :rotfl:

Welcome to the group :) 10th wedding anniversary and belated birthday are awesome reasons to join us

Keep trying, that thread is hopping over there.

Thanks - I'll keep trying, I have sent the admin for the group, Stephanie Combs a message but haven't heard back. Do you happen to know her DISboard name or if she has one?

I just transferred a placeholder to this cruise.. I am on the WBTA 2014..so this makes a round trip for me..

Yeah! I am getting ready to go on the EBTA 2013, so this could be a "thing" for me now..

I can't wait to hear about the 2013 ETBA, it is coming up soon!

Hi, we just got back from our fantasy cruise and booked the ETA for next year. I am concerned that my girls (ages 14, 11 and 9) will get bored during the 6 days at sea. They aren't really into the kids clubs so I am not sure that this cruise will be a good fit for them. Any thoughts or comments?

Thanks

I have a DD that will be 11 at the time of the cruise and will be looking for other girls to hang out with, so I hope you decide to stay with us :-) I also have a DS that will be 9 (almost 10). I'm hoping they will enjoy the clubs more as they will have a chance to really make friends, than they did on our 3 night cruise. I've seen on other meets where older kids have started emailing other kids their age before the cruise, maybe that is something we could do?

I just looked at our Google group and there are a few girls around 11 and 9, unfortunately no one for your 14 y.o. yet, but people are joining all the time.

I sent the invite through facebook!

Thanks for all your efforts. I don't know why, I responded to your e-mail but it hasn't let me into the group. I am in about 6 other groups on FB but for some reason can't get into this one. I don't know if it is something I am doing wrong (how can you do anything wrong??) or what. But thanks for trying. Val

I sent you a pm too to get on FB group..

If anyone is having difficulty joining the group PM and we can become facebook friends and add you to the group that way:goodvibes

I'm officially booked for this cruise - all paid for too, so excited. I was waiting to hear what the updates to the Magic were before I decided on this or the Fantasy Western Caribbean.

Excited to go!! Only 388 more days.:yay:
