EBPC moved earlier in year in 2016

I'm slow; I know.
I just noticed that EBPC is coming through much earlier next year. I did a very quick search here, but didn't find the answer I was looking for.
Any idea why it is coming back so much earlier next year?

My thought is because they are doing the cruises out of NY.

This. There will be a shorter Alaska season, no Hawaii runs and straight thru the canal after the post-Alaska repo.
