My hubby has boxes of textbooks from college. He graduated in 1996. Is just now completing his masters....so I figure, he won't need those old textbooks anymore. So if there were a snowball's chance that I could get his approval to sell textbooks related to a software engineering undergrad degree...what's the best avenue and liklihood of success for selling boxes of these books?

Thanks!

When it comes to textbooks, I turn to half.com.

Good luck.

I wouldn't expect much. They have probably changed every one of the text books in that time. (There was a big "investigation" on one of the news shoes that basically claimed they change the textbooks by just a little but the profs ALWAYS want the latest version. Of course some of the profs WROTE them so they have a vested interst in you buying new)

definitely half.com as another poster suggested, but also amazon.com

I had textbooks that were one semester old & they were already all replaced! They weren't worth a dime. Instead of throwing them out, I called my local recycling center & they took them (minus the covers). At least something good came out of it (although it's a shame to feel like you are throwing all of that money away)
