FYI,
Just wanted to let all you Ebayers know of a potential Ebay scam which is now floating around. You receive an email which appears to come from an Ebay member questioning you about an item you are selling and they include an item number and tell you that they tried to make payment by Paypal but were unable to, they then ask you to click the link to solve the problem.
This is where the problem starts, there is a virus in the link and the moment you open it your computer gets the virus.
I had this email sent to me this morning I had nothing for sale so I closed out of the email after I wrote down the info from the email. I pulled up the item number which didn't exist and also pulled up the Ebay member and they did exist. I sent them via Ebay contact that someone may be using their member ID.
I also did notice that the URL had Ebay UK as well so it seems that they are teying all the tricks to get your ID.
Bottom line Ebay will never ask for your ID so never click any links.

Always forward those emails to spoof@ebay.com and never click on any links. If you get one concerning Pay Pal, send those to spoof@paypal.com. They appreciate it because it helps them to find the people responsible.
