I have this very old bumper sticker with the Daniel Boone Mickey - do they even use that image anymore? LOL - It's dated 1979. Do you think anyone would want this? LOL I know that with ebay - there's a buyer for almost everything - - thought you veterans would get a kick out of this! It's not listed yet as I'm not sure where to put it or what to price it at -

FW merchandise is hot these days due to a G scale model of the FWRR that was (and coaches) are being sold.
good luck :bounce:

LOL - my hubby just clarified that it is Davy Crockett, not Daniel Boone - shows how much I know! Any ideas on a starting price?

Unfortunately, you aren't likely to get much for this item. Those bumper stickers were sold by the thousands. I'm sure you can find a buyer for a couple of dollars but I wouldn't expect much more than that. I would list it as a 1979 Disney World Fort Wilderness bumper sticker. Start the bidding at $1 and see what happens. Be sure that you ship it securely so that it doesn't get creased or folded in transit. I would pack it between two sheets of cardboard. Postage may end up being as much as the item itself which is part of the reason I wouldn't expect too much here. Good luck.

Awww, Steve - don't burst my bubble - I was hoping to pay for our whole trip with this! :rotfl: Just kidding - I know it was mass produced "back in the day" - but the great thing is that most of them probably went on the backs of cars and rv's that don't run anymore - LOL Lots of mass-produced items draw top dollar on ebay because although they were at one time everywhere - they are hard to find now.

Case in point - do a search for "trapper keeper" - I saw one fetch nearly 300 bucks a few weeks ago! It was just a notebook, folks! Anything old is new again. I am an 80's child (grad in 86) so I love to find old stuff I used to have! (and curses pirate: to whoever threw out my kitty cat trapper keeper circa 1982! Darn housecleaning binges! :rotfl:)

All that to say - this was a fun find and I'm sure someone will appreciate it - I will start it at 99 cents - dunno if it will make me some travel cash - but I just can't keep it for myself! :o) I come across some bizarro stuff - I'll also be relisting this strange 70's disco shirt with Sorcerer Mickey directing the stars and planets - can you imagine wearing that to Pleasure Island? :rotfl:

Let us know what it goes for. I'd be curious. I have all kinds of WDW bumper stickers in my collection going back to 1978. I'm not planning on selling them but I might think about it if the demand is a lot higher than I think.

I was just going to answer, nope they do terrible, but as a fellow Diser, I'll take it off your hands for $1.00 LOL.

Seriously, you never know what something like that will go for, and I never start stuff like that at .99 just in case just one person wants it. Hubby and I argued playfully about a old Niagara Falls brochure. He wanted to list it for .99 and let the market decide. I do the listing and listed it for $49.99. It sold, to a gal who's great grandfather did the illustrations, and in the title I had mentioned that. So guess who had egg on their face. It may have gone for that .99...especially since it had no watchers and few had viewed the auction. Now, you'll have lots of viewers and watchers, cause we'll all be watching to see how you do LOL!!

So you think stuff from the 80's is old??? :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Do you have two of them? Looks like there's two for sale on Ebay - are they both yours? :)

Hi there - just getting back to this post -

No - I don't have two - when I was in Sparedollar - somehow I launched the auction twice! ARGH! So I changed the title to Do not bid - and I will have to make it a different auction -

Unless there is yet ANOTHER one out there? My gallery photos are the same for both - maybe I'll try to change it now ........ :confused3

It might confuse bidders if there is one out there that says "do not bid" and then another identical listing. I would cancel the duplicate auction and then relist. Good luck. That is a cool item for sale :)

I agree. Cancel the duplicate auction.

I'm not sure how anyone can be confused since the only way it would come up is if they looked at MY particular listings! I also wrote in there that it was an error /duplicate listing plus I've removed the photos. I can't remove the gallery photo till I replace it with something else - this afternoon I will change it though.

Ebay :badpc: can nickel and dime you with their listing fees and that cost about 70 cents to list, so I am not going to just cancel it - LOL - I don't get that money back. 70 cents may not seem like much but if you list a good bit, all those fees do add up -

But thanks for everyone's advice!
