ebay shipping invoice

the other day I get a question about one of my listing on ebay asking if I ship to Chile--I do internationally shipping but only through the global shipping on ebay

I told the buyer this--I get a message saying that ebay wont let the payment go through without a shipping choice

when I looked up the invoice instead of having the shipping address it has the buyers address in Chile as if they were planning on me shipping there on my own I told the buyer all this and he asked ebay about that I think it seemed liked a canned reply cause me directions on how to send an invoice which I know how to do I knew right away there was a problem since Ive never seen an invoice with the buyers into shipping through the shipping center


I called ebay today and the guy said it sounds like the buyer wants me to ship directly to the buyer without going through the shipping center--which I wont do

so Ive messaged the buyer and told him what I found out

it seems like all of a sudden Im getting all these weird ebay deals--

just thought I see what any of you thought of this--I for sure have no problems sending to Chile but I want to make sure its done right

another thing I couldnt figure out is ebay always sends an invoice why was he asking one from me and why did the invoice have his address on it??
