Ebay seller question

I'm selling a bridesmaid dress I wore a month ago on ebay. I just listed it yesterday. I got a message from a buyer wanting me to offer a buy it now price as she wants it to wear to a wedding in 3 weeks (no bids have been put on the dress yet) and wants to have time to get it altered if need be. I have no problem offering a buy it now price as I just wanted to make what I had it listed for (although I may raise it a few bucks for the buy it now price) and she (the buyer) has a high feedback rating. How would I go about doing this?? Thanks for any help or advice!

As long as no one has bid on the item, I think you can go back in and add a Buy It Now price.

If not, relist it as a private auction for the Buyer and send her the link. (Make sure you add in the extra eBay fees for relisting.) Once she has bought the dress, then cancel they original bid. You don't want to cancel your orginal auction and have her "change her mind" and you have to relist again.

If, in the mean time someone bids on the original auction, make sure you cancel their bid FIRST before cancelling the auction, otherwise that person who bid, "wins" the auction.

You can add the Buy It Now feature. Just open the listing and then click on "Edit This Listing". You will have to pay for that option based on your asking price so as the pp said, factor that into your asking price.

You can add a Buy it Now price, as long as there are no bids, as the two posters above said.
