ebay question

hi there,

we will be in LA on may 28th & i still havent bought the tickets..
our budget seems to have already crossed the limits & i was wondering if there is any way of buying the disney hopper tickets for a cheaper price. a friend suggested ebay but i have no idea abt how it is or how valid are those tickets.

can u please help me on this
we will be 4 adults & need a 2-day hopper

From what I have here, you need to be careful buying passes on Ebay. There is no way of knowing how many days are left on the pass, if you buy it on Ebay.

For example, if you bought a leftover 7 day pass with 4 days left, there is no way to know for sure the seller didn't use all of the days and is selling you just an empty pass.

I have never bought the passes separately. They have always been part of our package, and thus added to our room key.

Maybe someone can tell you if the passes can show how many days have been used.

I'm not sure if I helped or not, but I tried.

As for discounts, AAA offers some, but I think the amount varies by areas.

There is no way to tell how many days are left on a hopper without getting them checked at Disney (I don't think you can do it at a Disney store either). I would be VERY leary of buying partially used passes off of EBAY or anywhere else, I'm not even sure that it is legal. Hoppers are supposed to be nontransferable.

I've been checking out eBay ticket prices for our trip next month...believe it or not, I haven't found any GREAT deals! We're AAA members and so far they're the cheapest. As with anything you buy on eBay - it's buyer beware, but you can usually tell from the seller's feedback whether or not they're honest/legit. You can also see (by reading some of the feedback remarks) whether the person sells tickets frequently or are just off-loading unused days. Believe it or not, most of the hopper tickets I found were brand new...but again, I didn't see any real savings! Good luck!
