Ebay Question

I bought an item on Ebay yesterday that was buy it now and paid using Paypal. I logged into Ebay today and had a message saying that I might have been the victim of a compromised account. The seller no longer has an Ebay account and the auction listing is no longer on Ebay. I was able to find "the seller" email through where I paid him on Paypal and I emailed him from my email account since there was no way to contact him through Ebay. I am not out a lot of money it was just a phone case and the total was $14.99. I just want the item. Is there anything else I can or need to do? I removed the card that I used on Paypal from my account. I don't really buy alot through Ebay so this is new for me.

There is no real way to deal with Ebay. When I try to contact Ebay using the item number it says that it is not a valid auction listing. I am at work so I can't really call them right now.

Ok I did finally find where I could send an email in the Ebay resolution center. I sent it and if I have heard from the seller on June 9th I can then get Ebay to step in and help.

You will not get the item, that's why the eBay account of the seller was deleted - it's probably a scam account. You will get your money back though without issue, especially since eBay has already emailed you about it.

I got that email a few months back. But by the time I was able to request the refund from Ebay I had received the item I had won. It was weird, I did not request for the money back (of course) since I got the item. I would have left positive FB as well since it was as described and shipped super fast.

Give Paypal a call, they should be able to help you as well.
