I tried this 2 or 3 years ago... when PPing first started making it onto the scrapping scene. I got all mine pulled. Directly after that (we're talking days), it seemed everyone else was allowed to sell them. Don't know why... only that mine got pulled and I was NOT a happy camper!!
I don't know... it was a Pooh one and I had titled it "Pooh Bear". It was pulled for copyright infringement. So I tried again, this time, leaving the Pooh off his shirt and titling it "Silly ol' bear"... strike two. LOL!! I didn't try again.
The funny thing was, the first one already had bids. A friend of mine was watching and remembered the user name, so I ended up selling that one. I was so excited when I first posted and was getting bids!! LOL!!
Another funny thing. I used to sell CTMH stamps. Well, when I started scrapping, I sold all my stamp sets. I had THOSE auctions pulled as well for the same reason even though OTHERS were getting away with putting the images in their auctions. I even had a go-round with their (CTMH's) legal department.
At that point, I was convinced it was a conspiracy!
Probably the same reason some people don't scrap. Don't you ever get that "I'm just not crafty" response? LOL!! Probably the same thing... they don't realize that it's not as hard as it looks... or maybe they don't want to spend the time doing it? Obviously for some, money is not a concern!!
