There's a few things I'm coming across that seem like would fetch better on Ebay than at a yard sale, but I'm not sure.

Just found this today.

It looks brand new, but I know it's been used at least a time or two before. I can't seem to find any comparables on ebay. But then again, I'm not a purse person and have no idea what it's called or what to search for other than Liz Claiborne. The strap is long enough to use cross body.

Liz Claiborne isn't a high end designer name. I don't think you would get much for it. Maybe 10.00 at the most.

$10 is better than $2 at the yard sale. I know it's not high end, but it does have a name to go with it... That doesn't happen around here often.

Umm.... what kind of bag would you call it??

Craig's List over ebay... people will buy anything there. You'd be lucky to get $5 for it though, honestly. So... maybe a yard sale would be best. Ask for $10, and you'll get $5! ;) :rotfl2:

What I should have said is that LC has no value as a brand name for resale. Personally I wouldn't pay anything for it, well, maybe $2 at Goodwill. And I'm not a purse snob. Megs is right, try craigslist. It won't be worth your time to sell it on ebay, unless you have other things to sell as a lot.

Totally not worth the listing fees, final value fees and paypal fees to mess with ebay. It is NOT a designer name as far as purses go.

If you want to ask the purse experts then there is a purse forum on the ebay sellers discussion forums section.

If it were a Dooney, Coach or Prada that you could prove was authentic then ebay is the way to go. For Liz I would stick it in a yard sale and hope for $2.

The problem with eBay is the buyers (myself included) are cheap and are looking for that one crazy deal where you get something for next to nothing.

Keep in mind if you eBay it, your paying listing fees, final value fees, paypal fees and have to take time to go and ship the item. I guess you have to ask yourself if you could get $3 or $4 for it in a yard sale is it better than getting maybe $10 on ebay, losing a dollar in eBay fees, some more in paypal fees and spending the gas to go mail it out to the person? and then the possibility of a bad buyer making a complaint about it and trying to get their money back.

Well I got my 2 bucks at the yard sale. Probably could've gone for 3 or 4, the girl really liked it.
