Ebay-How long do you list your auctions for?

3 days? A week?
Nobody bids until the last minute anyhow so I just started listing things for one day to move the process along. I just sold an item tonight where at the last second sniping bumped up the price from the $20 minimum I had listed to $31.XX.
What do other sellers here do?

You are so right that people seem to wait til the very last minute to bid. For that reason, it seems like a short auction would be best, but I think the longer durations get more "exposure" - more watchers - so hopefully more bids in the end.

I typically list for 5 or 7 days. I try to end them on a weeknight assuming more people would be near a computer and not too early/late for west coast people, but I have nothing to back up that it makes any difference!

I haven't listed in a while, but I always did one day listings. I used to run them longer but most of the action (new watchers and bidding) occurred towards the end of the auction.

That's what I have heard is the best thing to do. I have sold a few items and that's what I did.

That's how I feel also. I always list for 7 days. I don't pay any attention to when the listing endsbut I do plan to not list things that end during a holiday period.

I list for 5 - 7 days; typically 7 but I always like the item to go over a weekend and end on a Tues or Wed so if I list on a Thursday I usually just do the 5 days. I also try to avoid holiday weekends.
