You might want to check www.dvdpricesearch.com before bidding. That site is very helpful in finding the lowest online price. Most of the DS9 sets are selling for $90 right now. You might also want to consider www.half.com before going the auction route.
Before purchasing anything on ebay, make sure that you check the seller's feedback. Good luck and good hunting.
You might want to check Amazon pricing, too. Click the "new and used" link from the item's page to go to the Amazon Marketplace listings, where you're buying from individuals.
Read the descriptions carefully, sometimes the merchandise is new, never been opened, other times in "like new" condition.
Here are some prices I found there on the DVDs you're looking for, with the Amazon marketplace prices in bold:
Believe it or not, I've found excellent prices on DVDs at Sam's Club. If you have a membership (or know someone who has), you can often pickup the sets for less than even the online stores. For example, my friend just picked up season 1 of King of the Hill at Best Buy for $29.99. It was available online at DeepDiscountDVD for a few pennies less. But at Sam's Club it's around $25 and change. I know that the DS9 sets are $89.99 at the local Sam's Club.
