If you have an ebay drop off store in your state, have you used it or know anyone that has used this service before? I know they charge you fees for doing all the listings for you and they take a percentage of whatever you sell. I would really like to get into selling on ebay(i have some clothing from newborn on up to 6x) but I just don't have a clue how to get started :confused3. The ebay drop off stores seem like a pricey but somewhat convenient option.

The margins on clothing are very small to begin with, paying somebody else to list will mean you are pretty much just giving all those clothes away.

The best way to learn how to EBAY is to just do it.

Register an account and go into the clothing section. Look for the auctions of items that are similar to those you want to sell. Start tracking the ending prices. Make note of the auctions that go for the higher prices and see what they do differently. Do they group the items by simiar manufacturer, do they end at certain times of the week or day, do they do their pictures or layouts differently? What type of shipping do they offer and how much do they charge for it?

Once you are armed with that small bit of information, pick out a couple of things to sell and give it a try. See how it goes and then determine what you can do differently to make it better.

Pretty soon, you'll be a Pro. :)
