I had just the opposite happen to me. I won an auction for a Ronald McDonald Beanie Babie. It was one of the large ones that were only given to employees during their convention in Orlando. I got the invoice from the seller and Paypaled him $156.00. I waited for the delivery. It didn't come. So after two weeks, I emailed this person. No answer. I waited another week, hoping I'd hear from him. Nothing. I went to try to get his phone number and he was no longer a registered ebay user. I emailed him again and told him I was going to contact both ebay and Paypal. Nothing. I contacted both Paypal and ebay and got nothing out of them. By this time, I'd gone over the number of days in which to report a problem. I never did get my money back It was very distrubing. I learned that you can't give the seller the benefit of the doubt. If you don't receive your item pretty quickly, you have report them. I will admit that the person didn't have very many feedback. I assumed that he was a McDonald's employee who had received the beanie babie and saw a good way to make some money. Who knows.
