Ebates and gift card question

do you still get an ebates rebate if you use store gift cards to purchase stuff? Like us a wall-mart gift card at SAMs to buy the Disney gift cards.

I have gotten ebates when paying with a gift card at Kohl's. I assume it would work the same at other retailers. We use ebates to buy our Disney gift cards from Sam's Club and I use my Rewards Visa to pay so we can double up by getting ebates and chashback...it's usually 2 - 3% total, but it all adds up!

I use my rewards on my visa to by target gift cards on rise/card pool and then use those to by Disney cards. I can 5x dip if I can by wal-mart cards and use ebates
1.5% + 2.5% + 1.5% + 5% + 2% = 12.5%
VISA cash back + raise/ card pool + ebates + SAMs discount + Disney Vacation Account = $$$$

Each store has different limitations. Most allow gift cards, but some may not. And some may normally allow them, but don't for certain sales. Always check the stores writeup on ebates first.

The official policy for all stores is that you don't. The only place this has actually happened to me is Lands End.

It lists no gift cards under sam's club and Target. Or are these their giftcards and not the Disney gift cards.

Payment type doesn't matter, you still get the % back via ebates when purchasing thru them to the other site.
