What do most people do about food when in the parks? Do you eat a good breakfast and wait until the evening or take a snack into the parks? The third option is to eat in the parks which can be expensive. Any ideas gratefully received. Five days to go. :dance3: :dance3:

Before we stayed on Disney property we used to eat at Ponderosa in the morning and then eat later outside the parks :thumbsup2

Depends where you are staying & your plans for the day. Some days we will grab a quick breakfast in the room or villa & then eat lunch in the parks & go out of the park for dinner. If you have reservations for the day then that determines where you will eat.
If we are not rushing we will go to Perkins for breakfast & then just have a snack in the park. :sunny:

We have always considered a breakfast before we leave to be very important.

We would have breakfast at the villa (I go to the gym in the morning, so would die if I didn't eat straight afterwards...;) ), then have a leisurely lunch at the parks (prefer to sit down, but probably just soup/sandwich), then where-ever for dinner (normally outside the parks).

I like to have quite a peaceful lunch sitting down somewhere - being in the parks can be busy, noisy and packed: lunch is a bit of an escape. Also, I am not a fan or burgers/chicken strips EVERY lunch time...

We usually eat a counter service meal in the parks which is about $7-8 each. :)

We usually have fruit and maybe a piece of toast at breakfast time, fruit or possibly a sandwich between us at lunchtime and then dinner - usually at a table service restaurant or at the Tangierine Cafe which we love because it's quite like the type of food we'd eat at home.

our eating plan goes either: light breakfast, midday lunch (if we're having a big lunch) and light evening meal or Big breakfast, mid afternoon snack and big evening dinner. This year we seemed to opt for the first version and often just had a soup and breadstick for evening meal

We had fruit for breakfast then ate counter service at the park for lunch then had our evening meal quite often at Downtown. With all the walking etc I found I needed to sit down at lunchtime and have my energy levels topped up.

Some days we would have a big breakfast to fill us up and others we arrived in the park early, did a few rides and then had breakfast there (usually a light one and then an early lunch) For dinner sometimes we ate in the parks, sometimes offsite and some days we didn't feel like a big dinner so we kept some food in our hotel room fridge for light meals (bread, cheese, fruit etc)
