We are thinking about a trip to Orlando for two weeks in December. The week before and after christmas. We are staying in a private home and we will do a few days at DW. If we are eating at off peak hours(lunch at 2 or 3) and dinner after 8, we will need reservations or would we have any luck with walk up. I am not interested in making reservations because we will not know what we are doing until the day we do it. It will be a very low key holiday.

In most cases I would say Go ahead and try because something would be available. I am VERY hesitant to say that for your second week. The crowd calendar had every day in that week this year at a 10. That is hands down the busiest week of the year. I wouldn't chance it that week at the very least.

I don't think you will have a chance for sit down restaurants if do make a ressie. If you do not mind taking the chance knowing that it may not happen then go ahead though. Just do not let it ruin your Vacation.
