Other Than Sweet Tomatoes,Cheesecake Factory And Golden Corral Can Anyone Reccomend Any Other Nice Eating Places??

Look Forward To Your Replys:yay: :yay:

Red Lobster, Ruby Tuesday, Tony Romas, Pizzeria Uno and TGI FRidays to name a few :)

Claire ;)

Olive Garden and TGI's for us!!
We also like visiting Hard Rock Cafe too!

We tried a fantastic new restaurant when we were out in Orlando last week - BJ's Brewhouse which is on Millenia Boulevard (i think) opposite the Mall at Millenia. Food great, huge portions and they even brew their own beer!

Other favourites include Tony Romas (I-drive) & Logans Roadhouse (Sand Lake Rd).

Sarah :)

The Dessert Lady comes highly recommended and one we will be trying this time.

Where is the Cheesecake Factory?

Kobe Japanese Steakhouse (Tepanyaki Restaurant). Have been to the one at Lake Buena Vista and it was fab - lovely food and very entertaining :thumbsup2

I Will Definately Be Trying This One Out..Thanks For The Tip..

The Cheesecake Factory Is At Mall Of Millenia,Portions Are Huge,Service Is Great And The Cheescakes MMMMMMMMMMMMM..Well Worth A Visit..

We like Joe's Crab Shack on the 192. It's dead cheesy but the food is really good and they've got a veranda which is lovely in the evening

We like the Outback steakhouse because they do 'take-out', just a couple of minutes drive from where we normally stay in a villa.
Joshua doesn't like restaurants so eating out can be a struggle for us.

Outback is great if you like steaks, also their blooming onion is really special. If you like barbecue ribs etc then Smokey Bones on the corner of the 192 and 535 is very good. Both of these restaurants get very busy so be prepared for a short wait but they are, in my opinion, worth it.

I'm not a big fan of Outback as all the steaks are seasoned which always make me suspect that they can't stand alone. Vitos Chophouse next to the castle on I drive is my favourite for steaks. Well cooked and reasonably priced.
I wasn't too impressed with Charlies steakhouse either. The server started negotiating his tip while taking our order!

Agreed... We do occassionally got to Outback, but not for the steaks (normally for the Bloomin' Onion and their ribs are good too). Their steaks are ok, but not great (they are probably the American equivalent of a Beefeater steak over here...).

If we want a steak, we go to somewhere like Shula's - ok a LOT more expensive than Outback, but their steaks (and everything else) is a world above Outback too. :thumbsup2

I am a very fussy eater and do not like seasoning on anything, I don't even like onions or spicey food at all.
Always ask for them 'unseasoned' at the Outback and never had a problem (unless the ketchup hides the flavour!).

I am sure you are right , it is just in our position the Outback is great, Joshua hates dining out so with it just being a short drive from the villa I can go and get take-out and have a drink at the bar too.

I am sure there are many better steak restaurants like you say, personally feel it's a cut above 'Beefeater' but that's just my opinion.

I like KFC but was reluctant to say that!

No I do agree with you - Outback definitely has it's place...am just not convinced that it is "great" for steaks...

It maybe a cut above Beefeater, but then most American food IS a cut above most comparable British food. It is similar to beefeater in that you get a decent meal, at a decent price, at a chain restaurant - all round reasonable and agreeable, but nothing outstanding...

Agree with you about KFC :thumbsup2 . I don't like McDonalds or Burger King, but I like KFC :) (although I have to try desperately hard to forget about the quality of the chicken that they use... :rolleyes1 ).

Orlando is great in the variety of different restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets - something for everyone :)

Definitely. ;)

The potato wedges at KFC are fab and a cut above the fries you get in the UK, much larger portions too.
I don't like McDonalds or Burger King at all, I like 'chick fil a' though - thankfully Josh isn't one for 'fast food'.

Look at us talking about KFC and potato wedges, this is the sort of threads we want on the DIS!
