Eating options the night before flight - Gatwick

We had V-room last time but can't *** we are on Travel City Direct not Virgin (boooooo!)

I have even begged Virgin to allow us in but nope, only Virgin Holiday customers....

The menu isn't quite as extensive as their other restaurants but there's still plenty of choice.

And, more importantly, the cocktail choice is non existent

We have the V-room booked so that is breakfast covered

Is it your first visit Reid? We have booked V Room too and I am really looking forward to it. It's the closest we'll ever get to an airport lounge

We booked the V-room for last years trip. With the problems of getting checked in we did not really have a lot of time there. However everyone loved the haven away from the main terminal bustle. We'll be there for opening this year

We didn't book the V-room with our holiday, something we later regretted, because when we decided we would like to add it it was fully booked. However, on Virgin's advice we tried on the day and struck lucky!! It was wonderful in there. The food was freshly cooked to order and it was so relaxing. The girls spent all their time on the internet, DH read the papers and I was able to read my new book in peace!! I would book it every time from now on.

Debs review and photos here will probably help you and the girls get even more excited

I agree with Elaine. Even though we got the v-room free last year we happily paid for the 5 of us this year. Diane also nipped out of the lounge easily to have some alone time in the shops
