Eating on the shuttle bus

No food or drinks are allowed.

If you have a bottle of water with a twist cap, they won't harass you about it, in my experience. No eating at all though. Florida has too many bugs that would love to find a feast on the bus, and most people don't want to share a bus with them. Also, if someone makes a mess and the bus driver has to clean it up, it would slow down the whole system.

And that applies to both Magical Expres buses and Disney resort buses.

Can I get a breakfast carryout from the FC on the day of travel and just not open it until i get to the airport? Or no food allowed at all?

No eating on the buses. You can bring food aboard if you have it in a bag or something. But the rule is that it can't be consumed on the bus.

You can bring aboard sealed beverages, with screw caps or even the resort mugs. Regular paper/styrofoam cups with plastic lids are not allowed.

You could, but why? Just buy it fresh, including the drinks you can't bring through security....after you get through security. It will be nearly an hour or more from the time they serve it to you to the time you can actually consume it if you buy at FC then eat at the airport. Unless you're talking about fruit or something, or just a simple bagel, etc, then it might be easy enough to eat later. But in that case, you could just eat those on the walk to the bus or the wait for the bus.
