Can you order from the kid menus in all restuarants? We jumped on the 4for3 deal but are going on our tightest park budget yet! Any suggestions? Traveling with 2 adults, 7yo & 2yo.

I think you would have trouble in a sit down restaurant but at the counter service places you would probably be able to do it. When we went My dh would go up and order while I found a table with the kids. He was always able to order kids meals without the kids standing there. Sometimes he was also ordering an adult meal but at times we would get a meal for the kids only at one place and a different meal for us at another based on what we all wanted to eat and nobody questioned him.

Another option if you are trying to save might be to order 2 adults meals for the 4 of you to share. Just an idea!

My mom frequently orders children's meals without a problem. We also split meals very often. The portions are so large that my husband and I can split one adult meal and be plenty full, especially for lunch.

We also bring cereal and buy milk from the food court at the hotel for breakfast, and we bring lots of snacks to carry around the parks. I know a lot of people of the DIS swear by Garden Grocer. They deliver groceries right to your resort.

If you're creative and willing to put a little effort into getting some groceries, you can definitely strech your buck!

Another thing you could do to save some money is to bring/buy some breakfast and lunch food and make a picnic out of your days and just pay for food at Disney for dinner. We always had cereal and milk in the room as kids and ate in the room before we left.

Now, as adults, we usually don't eat in our room. But, we are picking up some yogurt, milk, and other snacks for our son to minimize what we have to pay Disney prices for. The parks allow you to bring small coolers into the park so you could pack some snacks, sandwiches, and drinks into the park.
