Eating Off Property - What's nearby?

not something i would do either in the summer heat/humidity of orlando!!

SIL walked last summer while we drove. They arrived in a less than comfortable state. So agree with others that although I happily walk at home, in Florida it has to be the AC of the car/bus

I would certainly agree with Beth, Sweet Tomatoes is fantastic as there are so many yummy salad options, homemade soups, pastas and pizzas and make your own desserts. All really fresh and really cheap!

Thanks for all the replies - the Crossroads area seems like just what I was looking for and easy enough to get to on the couple of nights we might leave without ADRs so we can have some flexibility

I am also going to ignore the curry chat, as having moved from Manchester to London 4 years ago, I'm still struggling to find a restaurant that matches my northern favourites!!

How far are these places from Downtown Disney? Like for people who aren't driving and don't want to rely on taxi's for everything, are these restaurants near to walk to. Maybe get a taxi home from them, but the walk is always nice.

you can catch the Lynx bus from outside DTD or the TTC to just outside the crossroads and it only costs a couple of $'s! The Lynx bus that goes to Seaworld now turns left instead of right at the bottom of the road as it exits WDW so you go right past the entrance to the crossroads....
