Eating off of the childrens menu

We have not had a problem order off the childrens menu the few times that we have done that.

when we visited last ( 2004) my DD then 12, ordered off the childrens menus.
we asked in advance and told them how old she was.
this only happened becasue she was till in her "chicken nuggets" stage.
when in doubt ask the server.

I know I'll probably get unhappy responses to this, but...

Keep in mind that you will be holding up a 4 top table with 2 adults and 1 child ordering off the kid's menu. While this might be thrifty for you, if people start doing this it could result in major money issues for the wait staff, who depend on a certain size bill and therefore tip. Just my 2 cents.

Well, in our case, DH eats more than your average person anyway. So, with us, it will all even out. Besides, I tip according to service. I understand they don't make great wages.
