Eating most meals at my camper - which restaurant for one night?

We will be cooking meals and eating sandwiches at the camper. No dining plan for us!

My DD21 was horrified to find out that I had not planned one night out for our family. She said that we always eat out one night - and she insists that this trip be no different.

I'm not wanting fancy or expensive. We've been to ESPN, Hoop de do, Rainforest, Whispering Canyon.

I looked online at the menus and found some that might work: Big River Grille, Beaches and Cream, House of Blues, Trails End, T-Rex. If DH sees a menu with entree's at 25.00, he is going to flip!

Can you think of any others for me to put on my short list? I thought I'd let her decide. (We won't be doing Character meals)

I was going to say Boma, which is a Thanksgiving favorite for us but it's about $30 per adult. If DD21 thinks it's so important to dine out maybe she better get her nickel out now lol.

I like Boma too,,very good choice.

Go to "all earsnet.com" and go to the menu section , there you can look up most all the places to eat at Disney and whats on each menu. :thumbsup2

I don't know when you last stayed at FtW, but don't be surprised if you're disappointed with the quality of the food now being served. It has taken a real nose-dive in the last year & a half, and the prices have gone way up.

If you have a vehicle, I recommend Ale House at SR535 (Apopka-Vineland Rd) and CR535. It's a sports bar with a very worthy menu selection, good service & good prices.

It's probably been 5-6 years since we've been. The girls were in high school then.

We will have a vehicle so could check out the Ale House. I did think of a buffet like Boma or Ohana - I know it is pricey but the entree items off most menus are in the twenty-dollar range anyway.

I know it is a subjective question - but I wanted some feedback. Thanks!

If you are paying for DD, then I think she owes it to you to pay for the night out that she is demanding. Give her the link to the All Ears menu list (mentioned above) and let her pick out a restaurant that her budget can handle. You might also refer her to the DisBoard Singles thread. Maybe she can find a group her own age to go out with.
