I'll try to be short and sweet. Me(49), Dad(78) Brother (41) and sister in law (45) all from California. Been to Disneyland Resort many, many times. Bro and sis in law have never been to Orlando.
Jungle Jim's. Thought we would try this for one off site meal. It was mediocre. Dad liked his.

Waffle House. After all these years, and reading an article on the plane, we had to try it. We all liked it quite a bit.
Dad prefers thrifty, home-style meals so he loved Bob Evans for a couple more off site meals. Some of the meal costs at WDW made his eyes bulge out, but he loved every minute of it. :)

Grand Floridian Cafe: Breakfast. Atmosphere is always bright and cheery. This is the first time I had breakfast and it was the best breakfast of the trip (we were in Key West, Everglades and Marco Island as well. Egg Benedict were awesome. Dad loved the corned Beef hash.

Artist Point: This was our fanciest meal of the trip. Everyone voted it top choice with 'Ohana and Le Cellier tied for second. Two had the buffalo steak and loved it. Don't remember what Bro had because I was working on my pork chop. It was great. Salads were really good as were the desserts. Coffee Two Ways made a big impression.

Liberty Tree Tavern: Lunch. I tried the Tri Corner sandwich which was fine but not great. The others enjoyed their burgers and pot roast. Service was great and the butter griddled pound cake with pecan syrup and vanilla ice cream was incredibly good.

Columbia Harbor House: Dinner. Best tuna sandwich around!!!! Sister in law wanted to go back for another one later in the week. It was crazy busy with all the upstairs stairways blocked off except one. We went up and it was nice and peaceful.

'Ohana. Dinner: Dad and my favorite place to eat (even with the changes) and it is for the other two as well. Combination of great food (mostly), good service and atmosphere.

Sci-Fi Dine In: Lunch. Great chicken Sandwich. Dad loved his Ruben and the others sat in front of us said they loved the burger and onion rings. I had the 7 bean chili as well and liked it.

Perkins: Dinner. Everything was fine and Dad was relieved at the cost. :)

Pizzafari: Lunch. We had pizza's Dad had the Italian sandwich. Everything was good. The Chicken Ceasar Salad was really good.

Riverside Mill (or whatever they call the food court at POR now) Dinner Taco Salad. A decent fast food version which was what I was in the mood for.

San Angel Inn: Lunch (Bro and Sis in law went here alone) they were disappointed. Said it wasn't bad but not anything really great.
Biergarten: dad and I went here to see if it could take the place of Akershus, which we both love but don't want to pay another $10 more than we used to.
Biergarten fit the bill as a replacement very well. Though it is louder inside than Akershus (use to be) the atmosphere is fun and we really enjoyed all of the items on the buffet. I liked trying all the salads and such and the main courses were excellent. The Hunter Sauce was really good on many things!

Electric Umbrella: Dinner. This was okay for fast food. The burgers tasted grilled, much like at Burger King or Carl’s Jr. / Hardee’s.

Boma: Dinner. Dad and I have been before and really like the buffet. It has so many interesting new things to try all the time and many foods that are different but good. Bro and sis really liked it too.
The Plaza: Lunch. Great food and service and a nice pleasant, quiet atmosphere. Pop thought this would be a less expensive place but almost choked when the bill with tip came to $72.00 not that he had to pay for all of it!

The Yacht Club Galley. We were going to go offsite and I thought we could get an inexpensive meal at the Galley. This turned out not to be true but everyone was glad we went. The food here was very good. Pork chop, steak and seafood pasta were all excellent. The Ceasar salad was over dressed but could have been really good. Great desserts too. We didn’t let Dad see the bill. ;)

Le Cellier: None of us had ever been. I had read all the good reviews over the years as well as some bad ones but we ended up loving the food and service. Sister in law said it was the best filet she had ever had. Dad’s steak was apparently excellent. Bro and I had the chicken sandwich which was excellent. Great breads and salad as well.

Okay so it wasn’t short or detailed enough but it will have to do.

Thanks for the reviews! Glad you were mostly pleased with everything. Boma is one of my favorites and I can't wait to try Le Cellier, too!

Thank you for the reviews. I chuckled at your Dad's reaction to the cost of meals, and enjoyed the details. This is the reason that we chose the meal plan, and would have even if it did not save us money. My DH is going to rival your Dad at most places that we eat :goodvibes and will feel the need to comment. DGD will say "Hakuna Makata, Pa" to calm his wallet reaction down.

Thanks for the reviews! :) When it comes to WDW dining, it really is a good idea to keep the bill away from the more cost-conscious members of your party. ;)

You're so right on about the tuna salad. It's marvelous! On the KTTK tour I learned they make it fresh daily.

Enjoyed reading your reviews ~ Thanx for posting.

Thanks for the reviews, Daannzzz. We're getting ready for our first trip to WDW (following four days on the Wonder) later in January and we've got our dinners planned, but are still undecided about breakfasts and lunches. Your reviews were very helpful.

You are welcome everyone. I hope you all have as enjoyable meals as we had on our trip. I still wish we had gone back for another tuna sandwich! :)

Did you go to the Snook Inn in Marco Island? We love it there. Good food and fun atmosphere.

I didn't know much about Marco Island and didn't research it much. We were there for one night only, at The Marco Beach Ocean resort. We really liked our stay but didn't find a lot of restaurants to pick from near the beach area. I am sure there were many nice ones in the few big hotels that were there. We ended up at a place called Joey's (If I remember correctly). We wanted a casual place and this fit the bill and the food was really good.
I would like to go back for a few nights in Marco Island.
