It seems the more I read, sometimes I get more confused?
Maybe things get confusing for me because I haven't stayed inside the parks at a resort.
We stay just outside of the park entrance. We'll be staying at the Radisson Worldgate this time. We are only going one day.
To my question.
Where are people reserving seats for eating? Where is the Sandwich show with the fish and chips or Wulfgang express?
Are they inside Magic Kingdom?
I went last year with my 2 year old daughter and all I remember eating at was "space ship" feel type diner. We got a cheeseburger and fries. I guess I need to get a map before hand a map out something.
Where online can you print out a park map?
Thanks for any help

Sit Down restaurants in MK include: Liberty Tree Tavern, Cinderella's Royal Table,
Crystal Palace, Tony's Town Square and The Plaza.
Wolfgang Express is in DTD not sure what you mean about the sandwich show

Colombia Harbour House has fish, sandwiches, soups. A very good selection and a nice counter service place for lunch. It is located in Liberty Square near Haunted Mansion.
If you want to eat at a table service restaurant, you can call and make advance reservations. Debs site can give you information and phone numbers for that: http://www.allearsnet.com/din/reserv.htm

Here is a link to a list of restaurants in Magic Kingdom.

http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/searchoutput-loc.cfm,

You can make ADR (advanced dining reservations) for the table service restaurants, but those you have mentioned are counter service and had no ADRs

You probably ate at Cosmic Rays in Magic Kingdom

Could the sandwich "show" mean sandwich shop - which might be Earl of Sandwich, which like Wolfgang Puck Express is in Downtown Disney.

You can find maps at this website http://www.willcad.org/disney_maps.html#parks

I hope this helps a bit in addition to what others have posted!

Have a good trip!

I think the sandwich show in the MK was the Diamond Horseshoe Revue. You used to be able to get a good deli type pack with chips and fruit. Then the Revue would be going on while you eat.

I think that was it! Cosmic Rays for burgers, Columbia Harbour House for fish and chips, and there is no longer a Diamond Horseshoe Revue for sandwhiches. If you have the extra time for a sit down (table service) try the Crystal Palace. Its a character meal featuring whinnie the Pooh and his friends (Tigger etc). The food is a buffet, and it is fresh and tasty, with ample choices. :thumbsup2

Just a thought-

maybe you are mixing up DTD Downtown Disney with the "town-mainstreet" area of MK??

DTD is a seperate place away from the parks but still on disney property that has Earl sands, Wolfgang and so on. :surfweb:

You do not have to have to have ADR's- advanced dining reservations for the CS- counter Service rest. like Columbia or Cosmic. You usually have a much shorter wait for the sit down (Table Service) places and are guaranteed to have a seat if you make ADR's. :wizard: We love TS places because they have airconditioning and often character interaction- the characters come to your table while you eat and visit - one at a time with just your table enjoying their visits-you can take pics and so on without feeling rushed.
Hope That Helps :sunny:

Both www.allearsnet.com and www.intercot.com have good dining sections that detail just about every place to eat at Disney. on AllEars, it is under the dining tab up top, and on Intercot it's on InfoCentral. Read through these to get ideas. If you want to eat at some sit-down places, you can make Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days before your trip. Just spend some time navigating those sites and you'll feel less lost. Also, get a guidebook- Passporter, the Unofficial Guide and Birnbaums are all good for different reasons. You'll have an even better trip once you've done some pre-planning! -Meg
