Eating in DTD: Earl of Sandwich?

We were surprised with Cirque de Soleil tickets as a Christmas gift to use during our upcoming January WDW trip. It is a 6pm show. The kids won't be able to wait til afterwards to eat. We are early riser rope drop people and usually go to bed early so early dinner fine.

I'm looking for a place to grab a quick early dinner in DTD. It is our last night in WDW and I think all our dining credits will be used up so doesn't have to be dining plan.

Is Earl of Sandwich counterservice?

I don't want to take time for a "sit down" table service restaurant.

Any other suggestions?

Yes, Earl of Sandwich is counter service. Great for a quick bite to eat of yummy sandwiches, soups and salads. We make a point of visiting Earl's once or twice every trip and have never been disappointed.

Thanks-that's all I need to hear! I just checked the menu on www.allears.net and so many sound good. I'm sure we can all find something.

We're semi-vegetarian (no beef/pork/lamb products)--Earl-of-S. sounds perfect for us--some places we have much fewer options.

Just a warning it can get VERY busy here. So give yourself enough time to wait in line and find a seat somewhere in DTD.

Just a note the Chicken Caesar salad was to die for also the Caprese sandwich were yummy.

We have never been disappointed with anything at EOS - it's one of my all time favorite CS meals at Disney!

EOS is wonderful! My son and I ate there twice during our August visit, and I'm already planning on having my post half marathon lunch there next Saturday.

Another good place in DTD (and close to EOS) is Wolfgang Puck Express. You order at the counter, then you find a seat and they bring you the food.

Another thumbs up from me! My husband had the Original which he loved and I had a salad which was good. We shared an awesome little dessert, 2 brownies with cream in the middle. sooo good.. I think it may have been one of our best meals. We did have a wait for our food to come up, so plan ahead.

Another for Earl of Sandwich. The food is always good, it's fairly reasonable pricewise and there is something for everyone, even picky eaters!!

We love Earl of Sandwich but love Wolfgang Puck Express even more. That being said, with you going to Cirque du Soleil Earl of Sandwich is your best bet. It's a great choice for a quick dinner.

Another thumbs up for Earl of Sandwich. Everything I've had there has been delicious, and I think the prices are pretty reasonable for WDW. There's usually a pretty long line to order, but don't be scared off by that. They are very efficient and the line moves quickly.

Yummy! We love EOS! There is always a line, but it moves fast, dh and kids hold a table, usually outside and I wait in line. Good food, my kids just love the potato chips there!

I am in the minority but I find nothing special about EoS. It is a basic sandwich shop, have tons better locally

Woflgang puck has a much larger variety and is excelelnt.

There is also Cooke's of Dublin. Great fish and chips and scallops. There is also a pucks on the westside, closer to Cirque
